Who is the Helena Building Industry Association?

We are an association of business people drawn together by home building, working to raise the standards of the Building Industry through education and civic involvement for the betterment and positive growth of our community and industry.

Membership offers the unique opportunity to learn and share information within a community of like-minded professionals, trades people and suppliers. One of the objectives of the association is to keep all who are involved in the building industry informed of changes that may affect this industry and affordable housing.

The Association keeps tabs on local affairs that pertain to our industry. Members sit on various committees and try to attend community meetings. Our members are encouraged to participate on any of the committees established within the Association. All the committees help the building industry in one way or another.

HBIA members are committed to the community of Helena in which we live, work and raise our children. The Association presents the annual Builders' Home Show and Parade of Homes each year.

Because we are located in the Capital City, our Association is responsible to maintain a Legislative Committee on behalf of the Montana Building Industry Association. With the laws and regulations ever changing, the men and women of this committee make it their business to be aware of all activities that affect the building industry.

The President or the Executive Officer are available to answer all your questions. If you are involved in anyway with home building, you are invited to consider membership in the HBIA.
